ECT Center has completed the development of a unique product for feeding cattle
Engineering Chemical Technology Center has scaled up the technology and produced the first commercial batch of a methionine derivative for Russian industrial customer.
It took about four months to assemble a pilot unit at the ECTC pilot site and to produce the first pilot batch of the product (150 kg).
"We are talking about a methionine derivative, which is intended for use in agriculture, namely for feeding livestock so that animals gain weight. The development is unique both for Russia and for the world. Currently, the customer of this product has completely received the entire amount of experimental batch and now is conducting tests at its base. In the future, the technology will be scaled up to a capacity of hundreds of tons per year"
Alexei Knyazev
ECTCCEO
Large-scale production of this product in the world has not yet been mastered. At present, ECTC team is completing the development of the base project and a feasibility study.
