New productions start at ECT Center: assembly of three new units is completed

The installation of three stands has been completed at the experimental site of the Engineering Chemical Technology Center. Using these units, it is planned to develop technologies for producing cellulose derivatives, processing waste from petrochemical industries and developing technologies for the synthesis of maleic anhydride derivatives.
The assemblies were carried out for three major partners of ECTC: PJSC Gazprom Neft, PJSC SIBUR, State Corporation Rosatom.
"Each pilot plant has a capacity of up to 10 kilograms per hour for the final product, which ensures high reliability of the data obtained and allows, upon completion of the tests, to start developing the initial data for the design of full-scale industrial production. Traditionally, the ECTC provides a high technological level of development of pilot plants, full compliance with the requirements of industrial safety and maximum automation "

Alexei Knyazev
ECTC CEO
For the installation of technological stands and subsequent work, project teams were involved, including machine operators, technologists, instrumentation and control engineers.

The assembly of the stand on average takes from 2 to 5 months. Each pilot will work from 6 to 30 months after launch in order to obtain a full array of necessary data for further industrial implementation. This will include an optimization of working modes and processes based on data obtained previously on a laboratory scale.
